Our Story
NeuroknowAI began with a straightforward observation: organisations in healthcare, finance, insurance, and law spend enormous energy processing documents manually — not because intelligent tools don’t exist, but because no existing tool could be trusted with their data.
Inspired by research of our CEO Moitree BASU and incubated within the Inria Startup Studio and the Euratechnologies AI and Deeptech programme, we set out to build a platform that treats privacy as an architectural constraint, not an afterthought. Every product decision since has followed from that starting point.

Intelligent automation should not be a privilege reserved for industries with loose data requirements. We are making it available to the ones that have the strictest ones.
Our Vision
We are building toward a future where privacy-first is the industry standard, not the differentiator. Where a hospital, an insurer, or a legal team can deploy document intelligence with the same confidence they deploy any other piece of critical infrastructure — knowing exactly where their data is, how it is being used, and that the guarantees are mathematical, not contractual. NeuroknowAI’s role in that future is to be the platform that regulated Europe trusts to sit at the centre of its most sensitive workflows — across healthcare, finance, insurance, legal, and public sector — without ever becoming a liability.
Why We Started This
Every researcher, professionals, I worked alongside, who handles and processes data understood the value of their data. They also understood the risk of handing it to a system they couldn’t verify or audit. We kept waiting for a tool that took both of those things seriously at the same time. When it became clear that tool wasn’t coming, we decided to build it ourselves. This tool will open numerous opportunities for the regulated industries.
